Matthew Jacobs

Matt works on ERISA class actions to vindicate current and former workers’ rights to their hard-earned benefits. Workers’ rights brought Matt to law school in the first place. During law school, Matt clerked for the NLRB, a preeminent impact-litigation firm bringing antitrust cases on behalf of gig-economy workers, and represented workers appealing unemployment benefits determinations. Matt was also the inaugural Minnesota Farmers Union Fellow at the Antitrust Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. After law school, Matt clerked for the Hon. Judge Elise Larson at the Minnesota Court of Appeals and worked for a nationally prominent plaintiffs’ antitrust firm. Before law school, Matt worked in academia and as a professional brewer.
