Office Manager

We are seeking an office manager to oversee the administration and operations of our growing firm. Engstrom Lee represents workers who have been mistreated or harmed through employer discrimination, retaliation, self-dealing, or even fraud. This position will be remote-first, requiring checking mail in our North Loop, Minneapolis office at least once a week. This person will be a trusted member of Firm administration, working closely with the partnership to ensure the Firm lives up to its values and operates as a thriving and healthy workplace.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Bookkeeping through QuickBooks and overseeing accounting with the Firm’s external CPA;

  • Management and oversight of Firm budget;

  • Execution of marketing tactics and strategies;

  • Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations and statutes;

  • Onboarding new employees;

  • Coordinating with external IT consultant to ensure equipment tracking, software updates, cyber security, and other troubleshooting;

  • Checking mail in our North Loop, Minneapolis office once a week;

  • Overseeing and maintaining the Firm’s CRM and other intraoffice technology;

  • Resolving HR matters and elevating to partnership as appropriate; and

  • Limited internal event planning.

Required qualifications: 

  • At least four years of experience overseeing business operations and administration, ideally in a law firm setting. Candidates with more experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Excellent judgment; highly organized, proactive.

  • Professional manner and discretion in handling sensitive matters.

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping or demonstrated ability to learn.

  • Commitment to plaintiff-side work.

Compensation, benefits, and perks: 

  • The minimum salary for this position will be $75,000. Candidates with more experience will be compensated accordingly and are encouraged to apply.
